How does the process work, and how do I report a breakdown?

We start with a quick phone or online consultation, where I assess the nature of the problem. Based on that we agree a plan: an immediate visit or fly-in to the breakdown site, an inspection at the home port, or a schedule for modernisation work.

Where do you provide mobile services?

I'm based permanently in Sardinia, from where I cover the whole Mediterranean basin and the Canary Islands. For urgent breakdowns or larger projects elsewhere in Europe, I work as a fly-in technician — packing a mobile diagnostic kit and flying directly to the port where your yacht is berthed.

Do you take on smaller service jobs?

My main focus is complex faults, inspections and full modernisation projects. For logistical reasons, on international and fly-in visits the minimum billed time on site is one working day (8 hours).

Do you repair inboard engines or gearboxes?

I have years of professional experience with main engines and gearboxes and know their mechanics inside out — but I deliberately don't take on jobs in that area. I dedicate all my attention and precision to advanced onboard systems only: electrics, electronics, hydraulics, generators, and automation. That way, when it comes to your installations, you know you're in the right hands.

Where do you provide mobile services?

I specialise in the full design and installation of electrical systems and advanced marine electronics. I service and integrate navigation and communication systems from leading manufacturers — B&G, Raymarine, Garmin, Simrad (on NMEA 2000 networks) — as well as modern power, energy management and automation systems built around Victron Energy.

How can I check the condition of my yacht's electrical system?
